Returns & Refunds Policy

At Salford Reclamation, we take pride in sourcing quality reclaimed building materials and providing a reliable service to both trade and domestic customers. As a local business, we aim to be fair and transparent with our returns and refunds process.

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: Items must be returned within 10 days of purchase or delivery. You can either return items to our yard yourself, or we can arrange to collect them from your site, subject to scheduling and applicable fees.
  • Condition: Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as when sold.
  • Proof of Purchase: Please send us the order number you received to your email when purchasing from our website.

Please note: Due to the nature of reclaimed materials, variations in colour, texture, and wear are expected. These are not considered faults.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are excluded from our returns policy:

  • Custom orders or items cut to size
  • Clearance or discounted stock
  • Materials exposed to weather or site conditions

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before returning.

Exchanges

We’re happy to offer exchanges where possible, especially for items like bricks, flags, or aggregates. Stock availability may vary, so please get in touch to discuss options. Please note we charge an exchange fee of £15.

Return Logistics

Returns can be made in person at our yard or we can collect your item. Please email us or ring us and we will arrange for the returned item.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you’ve received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work quickly to resolve the issue, whether through replacement, refund, or credit.
